Day #15 The Pink-Pawed Dog-Boy

Blessings on thee, little dog-boy
Pink-pawed dog, with eyes of joy
With your wooly white pantaloons
And thy merry howling tunes
With thy black lips & tongue so red
From eating strawberries on your head
With the sunshine on thy face
Thee dance & prance with fuzzy grace
From my heart I give thee joy!
I love my hairy little dog-boy!
Prince of canines, with wisdom to share
Though daily I vacuum thee little white hairs
Words thee know of rhyme & command
Just hold & touch with loving hand
Terror of lightening & thunder-rain
Thy only fear that I can name
A mirth-filled heart that makes me smile
Having such a natty jester style
Outward sunshine, inward joy:
Blessings on thee, little dog-boy!

  1. Yup! I know what you mean. The hoovering is always a problem. White hair everywhere, but soft eyes and wagging tail forbids admonishment.
